It's been a few weeks since I've been able to update because we have been so busy!
Your 5th tooth (second bottom right) broke through on 4-26 and your 6th tooth (second top right) broke through on 4-28 which probably explains why you were so fussy and anxious that weekend. We are still waiting on your seventh tooth to break through (second top left). We've been able to see it since 4-30 but still can't feel it. You love eating finger foods. We are still feeding you a lot of lumpy purees because I made a large batch a few weeks ago and hate to let it go to waste. Your favorite finger foods are carrots, peas, chicken, green beans, sweet potatoes, mum mums, puffs, and wagon wheels.
You pull up everywhere. You are so strong! You can crawl so so fast! You love to chase us around the house, swing doors and watch them hit the door stops, and "walk" while we hold your hands. I really think you will be walking soon! I'm so no ready for you to be walking.
We go to the doctor tomorrow for your 9 month check up. I am very excited to see how much you weigh and how long you are. When I weighed and measured you at home on April 30th, there was no change from when I did your 8 month measurements. There's no way that those measurements are correct because you have moved up a size in clothes! You are now wearing 12 month Carter's, 18 month boutique brands, and size 3 shoes.
You have lots of sounds lately - f, w, b, m, k, g, p, y, n. I think "f" is my favorite! Tonight, you were saying something that sounded like "woof" over and over. It was truly amazing. Your laugh is the the most amazing sound in the world. Right now, you think everything we do is hilarious... I really hope that lasts a long time!
I have so much more to update about your first beach trip, my first mother's day, and will also update with your doctor's appointment tomorrow!
