Your face...
Your whole face is about to change. That gummy grin will soon be replaced with 1 little tooth on the bottom, front, left. You finally had a tooth break through!!!

You-ness
I love you and all of your you-ness. The way you wake up so sweetly, that precious crooked grin when you're amused, the big belly laugh when you're thoroughly entertained, how you roll your ankles in circles as you sit - like you have a song in your head, how you look for me in a crowded room, the fact that music calms you so well, the way you squeal and "talk" all the time, how quickly you roll around and how well you are sitting up... I love everything about you.
You love...
jumping, chewing on anything, your toes, bottle, sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, apples, pears, (nearly every food you've tried), hanging your head upside down, being tickled, watching tv (even though we try to avoid it), pulling on your clothes, feeling different textures, reading books, trying to eat books, rolling around on your play mat, music, crinkle sounds, sitting up, peek-a-boo, pacifier when you're sleepy, mirrors, Bronco, outside, anyone talking to you, baths, having your ears cleaned out, cuddling with mommy in the morning, daddy's beard, silly noises, fake coughing, sneezing
You don't like...
being alone, green peas, sudden loud noises, hats (this is getting better!), changing clothes, getting in and out of the car seat, being stuck in the car seat in public places, when you can't get something in your mouth, not being able to get milk out of the sippy cup fast enough, when we have to clean your nose out.
I love that these lists are so uneven. You are such a happy baby. You have been pretty clingy lately, getting very upset if you don't see someone close by. It is very hard to get stuff (laundry, dishes, etc...) done while holding you, and I don't want to teach you that someone needs to hold you all the time. I really want you to be a good independent player.
