Too cute

35 Weeks!

Where has the time gone?!?! It seems like just yesterday we were announcing the good news!

I've been in major nesting mode this weekend. Saturday, I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned... including floors. I'm still working on your rug so the living room is pretty messy. I have been having some of the craziest dreams this week too! The most recent... I was nursing babies (random babies) and my milk was the consistency of cheese whiz. Gross. I know... and that's the most appropriate one to share on here! That dream lasted for.ever.

I have been craving ice lately... in any form... including popsicles. The hospital has the best ice! Does ice cream count?? I've been craving that too, since the beginning. My weight is still pretty stable with a total gain of 2 lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight.

Your Aunt Rachel is going to teach me how to make your baby food when you are ready for it. I am very excited about this. I really want to limit artificial stuff in your diet for as long as I can! Hope you like it :)

34 Weeks!

Hey Hudson!

This week has FLOWN by! I have been busy registering for our shower (Walmart, Buy Buy Baby, Black Eyed Susies, and Mommy & Me)! We've had some bad storms this week and our internet/power has been on and off so I'm just now getting around to writing this week's post.

You are definitely growing and grooving. I keep telling you that there's a lot more room in the middle and bottom of my belly but you really like to stay up under my ribs. First thing in the morning you are in the middle and as the day progresses, you move up up up and forward.

I am still sleeping really well.... when Bronco allows. I really hope you are a good sleeper and don't mind a barking dog!

I've been working on your rug for your nursery. It's looking really sweet and cozy... and taking forever.

I had my last birthday this week - 29 - after this everything is about you :)

I registered for this today at Mommy & Me.... It is perfect! It's a charcoal grey with yellow, white, and grey dots... Exactly what I want for your diaper bag!!

Nesting...

OOOh I thought I was nesting before! HA HA HA.

Today (with the help of my parents), I made and hung living room curtains, put together a pack & play for the first time, organized stuff in your room 100 times, cleaned the shower head (I know this one sounds crazy but it had one really strong stream of water that would cut right through me every morning), started our bag for the hospital, laundry, and cleaned the kitchen.

I could still find 1000 more things to do but I am so tired.

33 Weeks!

I will meet you in approximately 6 weeks. Seriously!?!?! I feel so unprepared... time to make a list...

  • PACK BAG!
  • Have shower/get stuff :) July 10th!
  • Finish rug for your room
  • Write thank you notes
  • Complete sick leave paperwork
  • Finish CPR certification (for work but still has to be done before you come)
We went to the doctor today and everything is great as usual. I am so overwhelmed by how blessed I am to have you. I feel so good. Yes, I am tired a lot lately, but I am sleeping well. I think you are just zapping all my energy. That's ok... you can have it... I didn't really have that much to start with :). You are moving like crazy all the time now. Daddy got to feel you dance last night... finally. I think it's starting to sink in for both of us that you are very real and very near to being here. Even though we may feel unprepared at times, I know we will be fine. We have lots and lots of friends and family that love us and will help take care of anything we need.

32 Weeks!

Hey Hudson!

We are 32 weeks this week. You are HUGE and I can feel you all over the place. We got your chair and ottoman this week! I will take a picture after the slip covers are washed and dried. Our friend Robin is on bedrest with her pregnancy right now. Her husband, Daddy's friend, is on deployment with the Navy. I hate it for Robin... and Brian, because I know he wants to be home with her. Her situation makes me feel very unprepared. If I were to be on bedrest right now, I wouldn't have anything done. I don't have a bag packed for you or me for the hospital. You don't have a car seat, mattress, or any supplies but a few diapers and wipes. Our shower is July 10 so I know that stuff is coming soon and that's the only thing that keeps me from going out and buying it all right now. I feel like I'm nesting but there's no sticks. I keep reminding myself... there will be sticks and lots of them soon enough. There are babies born every single day with SO much less than what you already have. You are such a blessing to me and our family.

Love,
Mommy
