I am pregnant!

Today is one of the happiest days of my life… 

I knew that there was a possibility but I was afraid to let myself believe it enough to get excited about it. After helplessly watching my best friend ride the roller coaster of infertility, I was convinced that it would take a long time to conceive. I was fully prepared (as much as you can be) for a long wait for a precious blessing. I prayed and prayed to not get pregnant before her. I’ve watched her joy and sorrow tumble together in a tornado of emotion with every new announcement. I did not want to be the source of her storm. God, in his infinite wisdom and kindness, allowed Rachel to have her precious gift before he allowed me to conceive. I feel blessed beyond measure to even be a part of this plan. I am overwhelmed with God’s work in my life.
